Pricing Methodology
Card prices are estimates assembled for collector research. We separate raw and graded conditions where data is available, label sample data clearly when live APIs are unavailable, and encourage collectors to verify recent sold listings before making decisions.
Data handling principles
- Separate set-level browsing from card-level detail so crawlers and users can understand the database structure.
- Label fallback/sample data in the interface when a live API request fails.
- Show raw and graded conditions separately where available instead of blending incompatible markets.
Collector cautions
- Prices can change quickly around product releases, grading backlog changes, reprints, tournaments, and viral demand.
- Always compare recent sold listings, card condition, seller reputation, fees, taxes, and shipping before transacting.
